Musings over morning coffee...

"Some people appear to be happy, but they simply don't give the matter much thought. Others make plans: I'm going to have a husband, a home, two children, a house in the country.

As long as they're busy doing that, they're like bulls looking for the bullfighter: they react instinctively, they blunder on, with no idea where the target is.

They get their car, sometimes they even get a Ferrari, and they think that's the meaning of life, and they never question it. Yet their eyes betray the sadness that even they don't know they carry in their soul. Are you happy?"  Paulo Coelho (From the book, The Zahir)

  1. I'm I happy? Maybe, maybe not. Maybe I'm among the people plunging on but one thing's for sure, I am trying my best to be ;) Nice musing! :)

  2. You have reminded of a story "I bought a car" i read from a guy called Allan i even reblogged it here sometimes letting things define us is not an end in itself...

  3. I am happy but will not mind a Ferrari!

  4. I have missed coming here. Great to be 'home.'

  5. @ Carol: Based on all the cool stuff you're doing, I'll say you're doing alright girl :-)

@ Mackel9: I read it and chuckled...yet it was so true to life.

@ Otieno: You and me both, Sir.

@ Cold turkey: We missed you more. Good to have you home. How was the trip across the galaxy? :-)
